Laughter Africa
Accountability

We're accountable first to the children we work with, and then to everyone who supports us: donors, volunteers, partners and the public. That means listening, being open about what we do and how we spend your money, and owning up when things go wrong.

Keeping children safe

If a child is in immediate danger, call 999 in the UK. In Sierra Leone, call the free child helpline on 525. Every child's safety comes first. If you're worried about a child, or about the behaviour of anyone connected to Laughter Africa, tell us. You don't have to give your name, but it helps us look into it if you do. Wherever you are, you can email safeguarding@laughterafrica.org.uk or info@laughterafrica.org.uk. In Sierra Leone, you can also call our safeguarding focal point on +232 78 202949. Every photo and story on this website is shared with permission, and we'll take any down if a child or family asks.
