There are countless fun and creative ways to raise money for Laughter Africa, from bake sales to marathons, fire-walks to quiz nights. You can fundraise alone, with family, friends, colleagues, your school, church, sports team, or any community group.

Can I fundraise in my own way? Yes! Bake, run, dance, shave your head. If it's legal and safe, we'd love it.
Can I have a Laughter Africa T-shirt or vest? Yes, just ask us.
How do I send in what I've raised? Online through JustGiving, or by bank transfer or cheque (details on the Donate page).
Raised money with a cake sale or collection? You can pay it in by bank transfer or cheque. Our details are on the Donate page. Please add a note saying what it's for, so we can thank you. Please don't post cash.
- Collections: street or door-to-door collections need a licence from your local council (in London, from the Metropolitan Police for door-to-door).
- Raffles and lotteries: there are rules. Small, one-off raffles at an event, where tickets are only sold at the event, are usually fine. For anything bigger, ask us first.
- Food: follow basic food hygiene, and label anything containing allergens like nuts, milk, eggs or gluten.
- Under 18? You need permission from a parent or guardian, and an adult with you.

We'd love to see your photos and hear how it went! Every penny you raise goes to our work with children in Sierra Leone. The only costs in the UK are bank and card charges. Questions? Email info@laughterafrica.org.uk.
